Learn the skills from a professional, performing musician and discover what it's like to play in a real rock band setting! Students learn how to jam together while developing invaluable techniques - this is a great and unique way to play within a team environment and to showcase the skills they have acquired with a final performance at the end.
"Great work Graham. Thanks again for being such a positive force for these budding musicians. Great to see everyone playing together and showing off their hard work. It's been fantastic for Hunter, who unbelievably now, could be quite shy. He really loves playing, and feels part of something special" Chris B
Well done to the Summer 2024 Youth Rock Band on their final performance.

"I've been struggling along without lessons, on and off since I was fourteen years old. Picking up and putting down the instrument over the years, and learning bad habits from muddling my own way through has not had a happy outcome and does not make for progress. I have been taking lessons from Graham for the last six months and I have learned more in that time, and made more progress, and gained more enjoyment from my playing, than through the other frustrating sixteen years combined." P. Priestley
"Graham's lessons have been fun, informative and have always taken me where I want to go in relation to the music and styles I like and want to learn. My bass playing has improved loads, particularly from Graham's versatility as a teacher, being able to help me with all aspects of my playing, across any genre." R. Adams
"I began playing guitar around 4 years ago. Due to Graham's tuition methods I have been able to progress my playing to a level where I am now on the edge of starting a band! The guitar workshop sessions or 'rock school' as we like to call them are especially enjoyable. Keep rocking...."

"I hesitate to merely describe Graham (AKA Eddie Cavalero) as a teacher or instructor as to do so would not adequately describe the added value that he brings to our practice sessions. Graham is very skilled, knowledgable, patient and a true professional. His musical skills cover every genre--rock, surf, jazz, blues, rock-a-billy, etc. Graham is genuinely interested in showing you how to be a better player and most importantly lessons are based on your interests. Our sessions are always a great learning experience and lots of fun. BTW, you have to go and see The Cavaleros."

" I’ve played music my entire life. The son of German immigrants, I was naturally subjected to accordion first - which should’ve cured me of the desire to play. Happily, I discovered that girls like guys in bands, so I took up bass and for about 8 years played ska and punk. That was followed by a long lull. At 40, I took up guitar. And for 17 years, I’ve been trying to learn just for the joy of it. What I discovered was that I needed a teacher to keep me motivated. And this means a teacher with far more than guitar skills. I’ve tried more than a few teachers. Graham Fraser and I clicked immediately. Graham ‘gets’ my love for rockabilly, ska and punk. He also ‘gets’ that I need more than 3 chord thrash songs - I always want to feel challenged. He’s patient, very VERY good at demonstrating everything from thumb picking to proper finger placement. He mixes up super challenging pieces like Cannonball Rag with groovy ear candy - I now have 6 surf classics under my belt! Most important of all, Graham gets my psychology, knows when to push, and when to let things flow. Judging from the students I see before and after my lesson, I realize this isn’t something that just happens with me - Graham is a natural teacher. If I was 18 and looking to put together a ska band, Graham would be my only choice for lead guitar. Today, he’s my only choice to keep the guitar dream alive and kicking!"

I've been having lessons with Graham for about 18 months having received a gift card for some lessons as a christmas present. Graham's mastery of the craft and laid back style makes him an incredible teacher who I would highly recommend. I hadn't played much before and working with Graham has really grown my passion for pickin'

I've been working with Graham Fraser now for 4 years and I have learned so much about really appreciating different styles of music and how to play them economically and with loads of fun! He can teach any style of music brought to him from classic rock to Christmas music. His ear for music is amazing! Anyone who wants to work with this fine musician will not be disappointed.

My daughter has been taking lessons with Graham for several months now and has improved 100%. Graham has introduced her to many different styles in this time including fingerstyle guitar which she really loves! I Highly recommend Graham at Rockandgoguitarschool he's best guitar teacher around! Thanks for the continued inspiration. She never puts the guitar down anymore!

My son started learning electric guitar with Graham 5 years ago and it has been a great experience. He keeps my son challenged with new songs and guitar techniques that keep him interested in learning. Recently, he had a great time in one of the bands.

My wife gave me a gift pack of 4 lessons as an early retirement present. I think she was tired of hearing me play the same stuff over and over for the last 30 years. Being self taught I developed some pretty bad habits along the way. Graham spotted this right away and got me on the right track at our first lesson. It's incredible how far I've come in the last few years of lessons with Graham. I'd never thought I'd ever be able to play the music I'm playing now especially for old guy like myself! Thanks for all the great lessons so far Graham I've enjoyed every minute!
